Cathy Gray studied Catering and Hotel Administration at Colege Llandrillo Cymru, North Wales, receiving a Higher National Diploma in Hotel and Catering Administration, in the following subjects: Food and Beverage Operations, Accommodation Operations, Business Administration 1, Business Administration 2, Marketing.

Since opening The Cupcake Baker in early 2008 the team have already gained a reputation for providing consistently high quality cupcakes, reliable service and excellent client comments.

In 2009 the company delivered cupcakes to a large number of weddings. Cathy's particular interest in the latest wedding trends, colours and contemporary design has successfully co-ordinated with the bride and groom's chosen colour theme.

Stephen Gray has over twenty five years experience with graphic design and has produced a wide range of design and marketing material for Shell, Grants Whisky, Bayer, Jaguar, BP, GlaxoSmithKline and a number of companies based in Oxfordshire including Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre NHS Trust, Berkeley Homes and Willis Corroon Risk Management. Stephen also has overseas experience as art director for four years in an industrial advertising agency.

Stephen is responsible for designing and managing the Cupcake Baker website together with all marketing, photography and promotional material. He designs and produces the quarterly Cupcake Baker newsletter - see left of page to subscribe.

Supporting Cathy in all aspects of the business, Stephen can also be found delivering cupcakes around Oxfordshire with a stripey shirt and a smile.
